Priti Kaur is a powerhouse Indian vocalist based in the UK, whose voice moves effortlessly from Hindustani classical to Ghazal, Sufi, Bollywood, Gurbani and beyond.

A gold-standard graduate of the renowned Khairagarh University and winner of the SA RE GA MA Punjabi singing competition, Priti has graced some of the world's most iconic stages — including the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (2018 & 2025), Wembley Stadium for the FA's Faith & Football series, the Commonwealth Games 2022, and the *Bradford Literature Festival*.

A former All India Radio Ghazal artist, she has appeared on Zee TV, B4U Music, and Kanshi TV, and collaborated with celebrated music producer Kuljit Bhamra on two albums — Essence of Raga-Tala (2020) and Namaste Bombay (2024). Her work spans acclaimed arts organisations including Sampad Arts, Subrang Arts, and SAA-UK.

Sikhlens UK film festival 2025

Sikhlens UK recently delivered its third festival, showcasing and celebrating arts, culture, and heritage to inspire, connect, and spark conversations across communities.

Around 450 people of all ages and backgrounds from across the UK gathered at the Phoenix Theatre in Leicester for a full day of films, documentaries, animations, shabad, classical music, and Indian folk traditions.

The Guru Nanak Tapestry event was a beautiful demonstration of art bringing people together. This community project, hosted at Christ Church in Leicester, fostered meaningful interfaith dialogue and showcased the power of working together.

Reverend Andrew Stuart welcomed Sikhlens guests and allowed us all to create an inclusive space where different communities could connect and learn from one another. The evening celebrated shared values and proved that collaborative efforts in art and culture are essential for building unity within communities.

2024 marked a significant milestone as Sikhlens UK successfully launched its first film festival in Leicester.

The day-long event attracted several hundred people who enjoyed films, talks, Q&As, and arts stalls. Enhanced by live music and valuable networking opportunities, the festival was a great success, laying the foundation for Sikhlens' future in the UK.

Sikhlens UK launched its landmark first film festival in the UK in partnership with Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha.

This pioneering event featured over 20 films, welcoming international guests and offering a vibrant day of stalls, arts, and live classical music performances.

The festival culminated in an evening conference on Forgiveness and Reconciliation, hosted by Mr Amrick Singh Ubhi DL with a distinguished panel including Dr Josef Boehle, Bhai Sahib Professor Mohinder Singh Ahluwalia OBE KSG, Imam Ibrahim Mogra and Dr Peter Rookes.
